Welcome to our website...

PLAY WITH AFRICA is a unique International Soccer Event aimed at ;

  1. Raising the awareness to the plight of children in Africa who play Soccer bare feet and with no proper uniforms,
  2. As well as bringing together American families and others from the rest of the world to PLAY with AFRICA, in a truly unique multi-cultural setting;
  3. As we all proudly represent our flags in a fun filled and exciting event for the entire family.

The event is put together by CHANCE AFRIKA an International and accredited 501(c)(3) non profit organization based in Woodstock, Georgia that seeks to help and support in the development of children and local communities in Africa through sports and educational programs.

Other key supporting partners are PARTNERS FOR CARE, ACTION AFRICA and JAMHURI FOOTBALL CLUB.

Today, millions of children in Africa face violence, hunger, diseases and illiteracy. Others live on the fronlines of enviromental degradation, never sure of safe drinking water, adequate food or even basic shelter to leave in. These conditions are prevalent to some of the resource deprived areas in many parts of Africa.Nowhere should such depravation be accepted as normal.

Our sports programs in Africa aim to develop - Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Strength, Character, Discipline & Dedication

It's our hope that we can ran several of these programs across the country over time as we all come together, united to help Africa PLAY as we jump start the dreams of thousands of children and youth in Africa.

Please come and be part of making a real & significant difference at this great & unique event.

This event was inspired by these two 4 year old boys, Vince and Kevin who were born on the same day and in the same hospital and only met each other last year (2007) on Halloween night while trick-or-treating.

Vince is of Kenyan descent and Kevin is all American and they are now best of friends who have not only brought the two families together but others in the community and would like to see this happen on a larger scale.

The main GOAL of this event is to help raise  awareness to the plight of children in Africa and the proceeds and any donations from this event will go towards buying shoes and sports uniforms for children in Africa who would otherwise play barefeet and with no proper uniforms.

In Africa we use sports programs as an opportunity to mentor the youth and teach them vital life skills such as etiquette, first aid, the need for education & civic's, math, history etc.
